It may occur when consumers turn on the supply during a water cut. This causes air to be trapped in the pipe that hinders the flow of water

Syabas will have to open the valve(s) along the pipe pipe in the premise to release the trapped air

8 Road Reinstatement

What are the stages of road reinstatement and how long does it take?

Under normal circumstances, the excavated road will be filled immediately. However, Bitumen will only be laid within 3 days, when the soil has dried or settled

9 Dirty water

What are the causes of dirty water?

  • Residue inside old pipes is perturbed by changed of rate in water flow
  • Residue in the service reservoir
